- 3/4 cup water
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder, optional
- 2 tbsp green onion or jalapeno. finely chopped, optional
- 2 cups of War Eagle Mill Hush Puppy Mix
- Combine mix, water, and desired options until moistened.
Skillet Directions: Heat 1/4 inch of vegetable oil in a skillet to 360 degrees or until a drop of water sizzles. Drop batter by spoonfuls into hot oil and fry until golden brown. Turn the hush puppy over and repeat.
Deep Fry Directions: Heat 2 inches of vegetable oil to 360 degrees in a deep pot. Drop batter by spoonfuls and fry until golden brown, 2-3 minutes.
