The perfect step-by-step guide to making your own Sourdough Starter!




  1. In a bowl or jar of your choice whisk the ingredients together
  2. You will cover loosely for 7 days

*Each day you MUST

  1. Remove 1/2 cup of starter
  2. Add about 1 cup of WEM Organic Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
  3. Add about 1/2 cup room temperature water
  4. Whisk ingredients together, cover again loosely
  5. This will be good to use in 7 days time

*You can refrigerate the leftover and repeat the process at room temperature overnight as required
