Yield: 1 large pizza

In the order listed, add all ingredients to the baking pan.  Select the “Manual” setting.  Start machine.  After the first rise, remove dough.


Add yeast to warm water in a large mixing bowl or a mixer. Add olive oil and salt. Mix in flours and beat well. Turn out on floured board and knead 2 minutes till smooth. Cover and let rise till doubled in bulk.

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Dust a round or rectangular pizza pan or baking sheet with cornmeal.
  3. Punch down dough and roll out on a lightly floured surface to fit pan.
  4. Carefully place dough on a baking pan.
  5. Cover with sauce, cheese, and toppings.
  6. Bake on the bottom rack of the oven for 15-20 minutes.
