This recipe makes a fantastic sandwich bread.


  • 1 ½ cups warm water
  • 1 packet yeast, included
  • WEM Light Wheat Bread Mix
  • 1 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp dill weed
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp grated parmesan cheese


Bread Machine: Pour warm water, bread mix, and optional ingredients into the machine. Sprinkle yeast on top and follow machine instructions.

Conventional Oven: In a large bowl, stir yeast into warm water until dissolved. Whisk in bread mix and optional ingredients. Place dough onto a floured surface and knead for 5 minutes. Put in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place until doubled. Shape dough into a loaf and put in oiled 9×5 loaf pan. Let rise in a warm place until doubled. Preheat oven to 375° and bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
