Here’s what you will need:


Hands on Time: 7-10 minutes
Baking Time: 12 minutes
Total Time: 22 minutes
Yield: 12 biscuits

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees
  2. Process WEM Oat Bran
  3. Mix together dry ingredients.
  4. Stir in oil until mixture resembles coarse meal.
  5. Add milk and stir until moistened.
  6. Turn out on floured surface and fold gently 5 times.
  7. Roll or pat ½ inch thick.
  8. Cut with round biscuit cutter or cut in squares with a sharp, floured knife.
  9. Place on baking sheet with biscuits touching each other.
  10. Bake 12-15 minutes.
  11. *LOWER SODIUM DIRECTIONS: Substitute 2 tablespoons low sodium baking powder. Omit salt or use salt substitute

Recipe Tips and Tricks

Variation: Substitute 2 teaspoons crushed dried herbs for the salt. Emits a wonderful aroma and a nice flavor.
