Ingredients
- 1/3 cup War Eagle Mill Organic Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
- 1 1/2 stick of butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Grease 8x8 inch baking dish with butter
- in a medium pot, melt butter on the stove over medium heat
- Remove from heat and whisk in brown sugar until smooth and creamy
- Add the egg and egg yolk one at a time, whisking well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla and salt
- Add cocoa powder and flour, stir until combined
- Stir in chocolate chips
- Pour mixture into the prepared baking dish and bake for 35-40 minutes or until the center is set
- Allow to cool before cutting into squares
- Pair with ice cream for an extra sweet treat
