  1. In a medium bowl, stir together Cornbread Mix and sugar.
  2. Make a well in the center and fill with egg, oil, and water.
  3. Stir until mixed.
  4. Preheat waffle iron.
  5. Coat with cooking spray.
  6. Spoon in batter, cooking until golden brown.
