The term “white flour”, has often been used to mean “refined flour”, so “white wheat flour” sounds like a contradiction in terms. But it is simply whole grain flour, which includes the bran, germ and endosperm, and is ground from the hard white winter wheat berries. This results in a lighter, milder tasting flour that has the same nutritional value as traditional whole wheat flour.
