Nonfat Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Can you believe it? These cookie’s have no fat, but they are so big in taste, you won’t miss it! Made with whole wheat, oats, honey and raisins–they even make a great breakfast on the go.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup WEM Whole Wheat Flour
  • 1/2 cup WEM All-Purpose (unbleached) Flour
  • 1 cup WEM Rolled Oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup applesauce
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup raisins

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Coat baking sheets with cooking spray.
  3. In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients.
  4. Stir in unbeaten egg whites, honey, applesauce and vanilla. Mix well.
  5. Stir in raisins.
  6. Drop dough by tablespoonfuls on to baking sheet.
  7. Bake 10 minutes. Cookies will be soft and not too brown. They will firm as they cool.
  8. Cool on rack.
