Apricot Pecan Biscuits
Lovely,
sweet and fresh taste!
2 cps
War Eagle Biscuit Mix
¼ cp sugar
4 Tbs butter
1/3 cp dried apricots, chopped
¼ cp pecans, chopped
¾ cp water
Topping – 1 Tbs melted butter, 2 tsp sugar
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In small size bowl, mix
together biscuit mix and ¼ cp sugar. Cut in butter. Mix in
apricots and pecans. Stir in water, mixing just until
moistened. |

Turn
out on lightly floured board. Fold over
twice. Pat out to ½-inch thickness. Cut
with a floured 2 1/2-inch
biscuit cutter.
Place 2 inches apart on baking sheet
lightly coated with cooking spray. Brush
biscuits with 1 Tbs melted butter;
sprinkle with 2 tsp sugar. Bake for 15 –
20 minutes or until lightly golden.
Makes 10.
