Enjoy the fields filled with craft booths from the Sharp’s Arts & Crafts Show adjacent to the Mill. With over 200 exhibitors, the show is an annual feast. Open 8 to 5 from May 3-5, the Fair promises to be a weekend of fun, education and family adventure. Parking is available in the field across the road from the Mill.
Honoring Native American history, War Eagle Mill will feature performances by composer, singer and flute player extraordinaire John Two-Hawks on Saturday, May 4th. John will share his music with us at 12:00, 1:00 and 2:30. Two-Hawks is a Grammy and Emmy nominated, Platinum Award Winning recording artist. John’s new Beautiful World CD, which debuted recently, will be available.
Traditional Lakota storyteller David Burnette, author of “a Journey Back,” will entertain and educate with three storytelling sessions at 11:30, 12:30 and 2:00. A Cherokee women’s dancer, as well as one-of-a-kind traditional Indian artifacts will be on display. Author Peggy Hill, will be available to sign copies of her book, Of the Wind of my Soul.
May 5, from 11- 3pm, War Eagle Mill will feature the Music of the Matt Marotte Band. Matt’s band has been performing for large crowds in Favetteville over the past year, with an eclectic mix of classic rock, reggae, funk and blues. Great grooves, good musicianship and strong vocals are hallmarks of Matts’ Band.
Spend Mother’s Day at War Eagle Mill! Mom gets 1/2 off her meal at the Bean Palace Restaurant. She’ll also have an opportunity to win a War Eagle Mill Gift Basket with special treats just for mom!
This holiday weekend, take the beautiful windy road through the Ozarks to the Mill and watch us grind organic flour before your eyes, shop our gift store and enjoy a tasty meal in our 3rd floor Bean Palace Restaurant.
The War Eagle River is high and great for fishing this weekend too. If you forget your fishing pole, don’t worry, the gift shop has fishing gear! We also have hiking sticks and a War Eagle Mill hiking medallion to take along while hiking the near by trails at Hobbs State Park!

Calling All Dads!
Bring the family out to War Eagle Mill for a unique Fishing Derby this Father’s Day, June 16. Catch the heaviest, smallest or ugliest fish from the War Eagle Creek and win a prize! Bring the family, fishing poles and bait along with a big smile as the War Eagle Mill crew will be taking pictures of you and your catch! This fun event will be going on all day from 8:30 am – 4 pm.Winners announced at 4:30 pm.
We ask Dads and family to visit our sign up table when you arrive at the Mill and please use fishing poles only. Adults and children, 16 or older are required to have an Arkansas fishing license to participate. Children, 15 and younger are not required to have a fishing license. 5 fish per contestant will be weighed during the competition.
We are Millin’ and Grillin’ this 4th of July! Bring the kids out and spend the holiday at War Eagle Mill. Fill up on grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, enjoy children crafts and face painting and learn how to make your own fishing pole!

Our special honoree is the one and only undershot water wheel in all of Arkansas, grinding corn into flour, meal and grits tirelessly all day long. Recently replaced, we are selling crafts made from our oldl wheel at the Wheel Wood Art Sale. Enjoy the Wheel Meal Deal in the Bean Palace Restaurant and win prizes playing our Pin the Mill on the Wheel game board!
Wheel Wood Art Sale:
Woodworker John Mounts, created bits and pieces of the old wheel into beautiful frames, bowls, pens and much more. Shop his artwork on the Mill’s second floor. Sale goes from 9 am -5 pm.
Wheel Meal Deal:
Bean Palace Restaurant will be offering a lunch special: pulled pork sandwich, a side of wheel pasta macaroni and coleslaw for $9.99. The restaurant will be serving breakfast and the Wheel Meal Deal lunch special from 8:30 am to 4pm. Also serving only delicious cobbler and ice cream from 4pm – 5 pm.
Pin the Mill on the Wheel game board:
Take a chance, close your eyes, spin around and pin a mill on the water wheel game board! Depending on where the Mill is pinned determines your prize! Prizes include free Wheel Meals, cobbler and ice cream as well as discounts on all three floors. Game goes from 9 am -5 pm. Every half an hour, a lucky winner will be called to play the game.

Each October the Ozark hills come alive with the sights, sounds and aroma of the War Eagle Mill Fall Craft Fair. Professional craft men and women offer original, handmade work such as decorative yard items, colorful paintings, pottery, stoneware, dried arrangements, miniatures, homemade soaps, jewelry and much more!
Bean Palace Restaurant’s Breakfast Starts at 6:30 am! Enjoy War Eagle biscuits and gravy, eggs and sausage and more!
Craft booths open 8 am - 5:30 pm, Thurs. – Sat., and until 4:30 pm on Sunday.
