11025 War Eagle Road
Rogers, AR – Nov. 4 &5, 2013 – The Benton County Road Department will be performing repairs on the War Eagle Bridge on November 4th and 5th from 7 am to 5 pm each day. Highway 303 and Highway 12 to War Eagle Road will be open but no vehicles or pedestrians will be allowed on the bridge during this time.
During the repair of the historic War Eagle Bridge, the Mill’s water wheel will be turning and our stones will be grinding fresh organic flours for you to enjoy. The Mill and our Bean Palace Restaurant will be open regular hours of 8:30 am – 5pm as usual. Stop in to see our Mill in action, shop our gift store and enjoy a homemade meal in our restaurant.
If you are visiting us from the north, such as Rogers, Bentonville or Eureka Springs, your route won’t change, as you will not have to cross the War Eagle Bridge to reach the Mill.
If you are visiting us from the south, such as Fayetteville or Springdale, your route will change slightly. Travel on Highway 412, take a left on to Highway 45 then a left on to Highway 12. Turn one more left on to War Eagle Road to the Mill, unless you’d like to stop first for a hike at Hobbs State Park and take in the beautiful Fall colors. The park is only 2 miles before the Mill.
The War Eagle Bridge allows visitors to experience the Mill every day and enjoy all it has to offer. Repair is necessary at times and we appreciate visitors’ flexibility in rerouting their journey.
