A Hoppy Easter at the Mill

Millie-Sayings-MBC2
Easter is one of my favorite holidays and I’m so glad I got to spend it at the Mill with all my young friends! The day was filled with a tasty ham lunch special in the Bean Palace Restaurant, lots of hugs and pictures with the Easter Bunny, colorful children’s crafts and of course a big GREEN egg hunt!

Inside the Mill, the friendly Easter Bunny was hopping around with all the little visitors! Many enjoyed sitting on his lap while parents took pictures! Look at that big smile!

Outside, colorful paints, markers and crayons were piled high on the tables for my friends to decorate their own eggs and create beautiful paintings for a keepsake to remember their Mill visit.

This year, the Mill’s Egg Hunt went GREEN. Our Easter Bunny used biodegradable eggs! See his excitement before the hunt!

Parents and kids lined up with Easter baskets in hand counting down the minutes until the hunt. Everyone had their eyes on the prize! It was so egg-citing!

The clock read 2:00 pm and the Mill crew said “Ready? Go!” The kids crawled, hopped, skipped and ran through the grass to find their filled eggs. Prizes included toy rings, bracelets, stickers, erasers and chewy candy!

So many happy children with baskets full of goodies. It was a great Easter Celebration. I can’t wait until next year!
