The beautiful sounds of children, fiddles, flutes, and an Irish harp echoed throughout the Mill this past weekend. And of course, the delicious smell of corned beef, cabbage and potatoes filled the Bean Palace Restaurant. It was a Grand ol’ time!
It was a delight to see the wee ones frolicking through the Mill to find the Leprechaun’s Pot O’ Gold! Darlene Breen was one of the many lucky children to find the treasure! She was so happy!
A crowd followed the sounds of laughter, singing and dancing up to the 3rd floor’s Bean Palace restaurant. Many tapped their toes to the tunes as they filled their bellies with corned beef and fresh soda bread. The first band to play were the Mudlarks. Take a look see and a listen to their brilliant music!
Sunday’s band featured the Irish Duo: Patty O’Grill and BIll O’Sayle. A funny couple of lads who loved to sing about beautiful women, like myself, and Americay! Have a listen to Patty’s Irish Blues.
It wouldn’t be a Mill event without some tasty baked goods. The Mill crew were baking up some Poor Man’s Clover cookies for visitors to sample. They were a fun cookie with a lemony twist and a dash of green. Yum!
Music, treasure and scrumptious food made this another great St. Paddy’s Day Weekend to go down in history!
